Quick tip for the removal of the grill. Using a butterknife to pop out the bottom tabs. Worked like a charm

Perfect video! I wanted to remove the grill to take out the front Lexus emblem. Looking to replace it with a T emblem.

A "T" emblem??? I"d like to see that if u have a link.

You don't need to remove the grill to remove the Lexus emblem. There are 2 screws behind the emblem on the top that holds the emblem on and one tab on the bottom. There is plenty of space behind the emblem to use a stubby Philips screwdriver to remove the screws.

People have done it but it’s a lot more expensive since the 2021 grill is not a direct fit onto the 2011. The 2021 grille is a direct fit for 2014 and up hourglass shaped grill

@@Vietnammoiqua to be honest, i would sell your 2011. There’s a high demand on GX way above kelley blue book value. Then invest in a higher mileage 2014. I did the same thing with my black 2011 i have in my other videos. The price difference isn’t as much as you might think it is.

@@Joricano Thats the first place i would look to narrow down my issue. What i have done in the past was to you a big screw with a washer to tighten the top bumper cover screw common to my black plastic fender guard.

i have never used the Lexus onboard navigation because i thought it was very nonuser friendly. I have been using my cellphone app such as Waze instead.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to change the ballast there is no clearance to the connected bulb holder with metal hood. as far as I can tell, you have to buy a headlght assembly with ballast already installed. I spent z

I replaced the ballast easily with one I bought from eBay. Not sure what you’re talking about.
