Will the car need a tune and dyno with these headers?

Yes, a tune will be needed. You can go with a dyno tune or a mail order tune. Either way should be fairly simple for any tuner to tackle.

These headers are a good buy thanks phastek I would share a video of what they sound like but I did 3 things at one the headers the new borla atak exhaust and a roto rotofab cold air intake

I have a crackle tune on my 5th gen so I have a check engine would you recommend I get a defouler to clear the check engine light?

Your tuner should be able to update your tune to adjust for the headers, this would be best. If your tuner can not adjust, for what ever reason, then defoulers would be the next route to go.

Yes, there is not modification needed to the factory exhaust. These headers will bolt right up to them.

Will these header mate up with a Solo Mach-X cat back exhaust? Also, does the exhaust sound change?

Yes, you should not have any fitment issues mating them up to the Solo exhaust system. Yes, the sound will change. It will be louder and have a deeper growl.

Are these worth it? I was thinking of getting the Texas speed headers for my 5th gen but these look pretty solid

We have put these headers on cars that have made over 800rwhp and they have performed with out any issues. There are no clearance problems with these headers either, they will simply bolt on and perform. So, are these worth it? YES, yes they are.

Typically a set of headers will get you around a 30-35rwhp gain.

do these headers bolt on to my borla atak cat back exhuast? pretty sure it’s 2.5” pipes and these are 3” so would there need to be welding?

These should bolt up to any aftermarket exhaust system. Most exhaust systems will neck down to the 2.5" connection to ensure that they work with the factory catalytic converters. There is a reducer that comes with these headers that will allow you to make the same connection to the factory clamp. These are not the same as the Texas Speed headers. Although they are similar there are differences that make Stainless Power the go too.
