Great big help. Thanks. Just fixed mine in 5 minutes. I had a pen fallen into the cavity the lid retracts into preventing full opening. Easy when someone shows you how. Thanks.

Thank you for this vid. I've had pens preventing the lid from closing for years. I've been looking for a video like this so I don't end up marring up the panels and break clips. I didn't need to shift the drive selector down on the reinstall. Tilting the rear section of the console up allows the front end to clear and align the tabs.

I personally wouldn’t attempt it, but if you get a used piece for cheap, you could try to experiment.

I dropped something between the lid and the cup holder itself. Is there a way to just remove the lid instead of removing the whole unit?

I don't believe you can take the lid off from the top. The quickest way would be to remove the top center console trim that the cupholder is installed into, turn it upside down, shake it, and the pen or whatever you dropped will likely just fall out. You probably will not even have to remove the actual cupholder itself from the assembly.

Hello. My center console bezel doesn’t sit flush. There seems to be some space between the front and back side panel pieces. It seems like the distance between the console/arm rest and dash are a little further then it was when built(if that makes sense) causing the distance to be a little larger for the bezel to clip in flush. This is obviously not standard those side wall pieces should fit flush. Is there a way to fix that on your own? Or do I need a new whole center console? I own a 2013 Lexus Rx350

It’s very difficult to say without seeing it. You can start taking things apart and see if you can figure out what is causing the problem, move things, adjust things etc. until you are satisfied with the fit.

hi Viktor, I'd just installed an aftermarket Android headunit to my 2010 RX350 last week but had to put the OEM headunit back in after installation. What happened was that everytime I tried to start the vehicle, the power of the entire car was cut off instantly as soon as I hit the Start Engine button. Do you have any insights regarding this error?!

Sorry, I have no experience with aftermarket head units, not sure what is going on there, could be faulty unit or wiring.
