Excellent information. Worked exactly the same on my 2008 RX 350. I was almost finished until I accidently pushed the rubber plug too far and it fell into the rotor.... so I had to take off the rotor to retrieve it. What should have been an easy 15 min job, turned into 2 hours. I was so upset. LOL.

Wheres the link to the video how to take the access panel and the knee airbag?
Well shoot!.... i just did the rear brakes on my 2010 literally today..and didn't do anything to the e brake. I'll have to do that first chance I get now. The car seemed to be driving fine today though.

@@Viktor_G_Automotive thank you. i just did, but the parking brake become looser, when the parking brake is off, after the adjustment, if the wheel is not spin is it okay? i thought the tonight’s should be moving while it’s off and right while the parking brake is engaged
@Viktor_G_Automotive8 ай бұрын
@@yd1316 it should move with the ebrake disengaged and not move with the ebrake engaged. The video shows the whole process in detail, including the cable adjustment at the pedal if the pedal still moves down too far after adjusting at the wheels.

Do both rear wheels need to be up in the air ?
@Viktor_G_Automotive Жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. I can’t recall if the rear diff coupler is disconnected from the driveshaft when the ignition is off or not. Lift one rear corner and see if you can turn the wheel that is in the air. If you can, you are good to go. If you can’t, try putting the transmission in neutral (make sure the vehicle cannot roll away by chocking the wheels). If it still doesn’t work, you will have to lift both rear wheels. Naturally, the ebrake has to be off during this process.

Does the turning direction change when adjusting the other side of the wheel?
@Viktor_G_Automotive10 ай бұрын
No, the other side adjuster is threaded in the opposite direction, so you still move the screwdriver the same way to adjust.

Question.. Is the 2006 lexus rx 350 rear HB cable the same as the 2006 lexus 400h? Many thanks
@Viktor_G_Automotive8 ай бұрын
Hi, here in North America the RX350 did not come out until 2007, the 2006 was an RX330. The parts may or may not be the same, the best thing to do would be to check with your Lexus dealership parts department.
