Glad to see you used the reverse torque sequence to avoid warping head. Same goes for intake both parts. Too many people just go down the line and warp everything.

Oh thank god!! Thank you for making this video. My situation is identical lol all the way to the party he brought I bought the exact ones too😂😂, I’m trying to get to the valves but for the life of me I can’t get the crank and cam pulley bolts off!! And of course it’s what’s not shown very well. Dang. I was commenting while watching! lol 😂well hell

I know this is old. But with those bent valves, did you just replace the head gaskets and valves? I have the same engine, and I in the process of putting it back together, and I noticed the little marks on the cylinder as well as a couple valves that were showing the way those in your video were.

woulda been dope if you showed how to actually remove them? like where are all the bolt located on the driver head

The worst part about this job is paying $70-80 for THREE O-rings that go behind the timing cover to the block where the water pump passes through the cover into the block. What a disaster. I thought the 3 O-rings were in my head kit, but as I was putting it back together, figured out I was wrong. Only a dealer part. Literally should be $1-5 but the stealership gets you.

When doing this job are the lifters included in the job or .. got pay separate??

I did a rebuilt of the head but they say got pay for valve lifters ..
