This is a great truck that can really move out on your every response to gas peddle. I know because I own one it's a blast to drive everyday and holds to be the boss on the road as well. I hope they don't change it to a weak truck for 2017 as for engine now 6.2 a monster and power is madly crazy. If you just put a supercharger on it it crush the competition in every way at 740 horsepower.---Joe Dunmore

I just bought one of these today. 2010 6.2L supercab loaded 120,000 miles flawless car fax. I paid 10k. Only issues is I’m going to replace the bumper it’s is rusted bad. Maintenance every 6,000 miles like clock work. Can’t wait to go get it Tuesday and get working on the build🤘🏻

This is the exact truck I really really really want, my dream truck, though I'm only 11 I think this truck is stylish, powerful, and it also has a nice inside. I wont get my drivers licence for a while though, like 5 or 6 years, but I don't care if that truck would be outdated, I really like that truck.

Although I get my license next year insurance rates are going to be sky high (if you are a male don't want to "trigger" anyone) I'd recommend getting just a regular v8 then when the time comes or you graduate college then get it. Well worth the money though

You are right, it is not a production truck...I think the suspension kit is like 11k, then you need to buy the extended bedsides and the extended front fender flares separately. I do like that ford has all of the necessary parts all assembled and ready for you to go, but just take a look at the kit from Mopar for the Ram it looks really cool

Some days, I miss mine. This exact same year/configuration, except I was spared the terrible decals. Engine was amazing, though crazy thirsty...it barely reached 12 mpg in mixed driving. Under acceleration, that 100 mph limit (because of off-road biased tires) arrived way too early. Sadly, that transmission was, by a wide margin, the WORST I've ever encountered in a truck.

In a word, clunky. Hunting for gears and it would downshift when you let off the throttle so hard it threw you against the seat belt pre-tensioners. Dealer checked twice: "could not reproduce issue."

As someone who actually owns a 2010 F-150 and hears the chime every time he starts it up, I can say this. It's much less annoying than a "DING DING DING DING DING DING" every third of a second in other cars. Petty complaints about the chimes and "oh lol the manstep is gay" just show the immaturity present on every YT video's comment section. Ford makes solid trucks, and the Raptor is a very solid version of a very solid truck. If you want off and onroad capability from the factory, this is it.

These trucks are designed to run Baja style races and to jump. Yes, to jump...there are tons of videos of these trucks being jumped and surviving. Ford designed them with a soft suspension to absorb landings. The regular F150 has a higher payload capacity as a result, but it cant jump :). Also the red line on the top of the steering wheel is a racing thing, it lets the driver know when the wheel is 'straight'. You'll see it on everything from Baja racers to DTM.

It depends to be honest. Both Ford and Chevrolet kicks Ram's butt in every single category. There are about 107 F150's being sold every hour, according to Top Gear. If you want the biggest looking truck on the road, get a DRW configuration for the Ford F-Series or a Chevrolet Silverado.

Almost like my truck except minus the decals and I ordered mine with GPS/Backup cam. Anyhow, Ford only made about 800 2010 Blue Flame Raptors with the 6.2L. The color wasn't all that popular and you also had the available 5.4L V8 in that year.

@txedomask433 Legally required for Ford to make them street legal. (Due to the wheel base, it's wider than 'normal' trucks.) Normally you'd see them on the roofs of trucks, but Ford wanted to make them integrate into the overall look of the truck
