2010 Royal Visit Retrospective

Highlights from Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's royal tour of Canada from June 29 to July 6, 2010. They attend a welcoming ceremony in Halifax on June 29, where the Queen also reviews Canada’s international fleet. On June 30, they visit Ottawa and attend a reception with Prime Minister Stephen Harper at Rideau Hall. On July 3, Queen Elizabeth II visits Winnipeg, where she dedicates the cornerstone of the upcoming Museum of Human Rights. In Toronto, the Queen delivers a speech at a state dinner in her honour on July 5 and attends a departure ceremony on July 6.
