Honestly upset me that people let Miley & Bieber get away with the foolery. Smh. Beyoncé probably had the most interesting decade she was in the media a lot. Crazy how she dosnt do interviews anymore lol. I remember freshman year in high school when there was a whole crop of new artist. Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Kesha, BOB, etc. Lady Gaga, Rihanna & Katy were the biggest pop stars at the time

That’s why it matters to see our own worth and value in what we do, because she worked for her but she was underpaid and when she wanted money and she threw it at her, and although it hurt her, she accepted that treatment. Maybe it’s my pride, but I know my history, and how people like myself have been exploited in the past, and I refuse to let anyone exploit me. I am under no ones control, as long as I have my mind I am free. And I hope more black people don’t ever feel like they have to compromise their self worth and dignity because of “loyalty” and empty promises. As Maya Angelou said “When people show you who they are, believe them”.
