Can you write in the tools needed to do the change? Just so when I go to the store I know exactly what to buy? I called to get pricing for a spark plug change it was going to cost $250+

Fuck that 😂!!! You can do this yourself for like $25. You need a rachet with 10mm socket to loosen the little bolt. A spark plug 5/8 MAGNETIC socket and EXTENSION because the spark plug is deep. Buy 4 PRE GAPPED iridium Coated spark plugs. Iridium is the best. If they are not gapped, they won’t fire and your car will be dead. Note, you should unplug the negative terminal of the battery before touching those parts. It could spark and burn you or burn out some other electrical components then you will have more problems... When you pull out the plugs, inspect the spark plugs too. If they are oily, that’s bad... could be an an underlying cause to why your spark plugs went bad in the first place. Good luck!

Bout $6 a plug give or take depends where you buy them. Make sure you get the pre gapped plugs. Gapping them is annoying as FK... if you do it wrong they won’t fire and your car will be dead 😂

I have a 2016 Kia I seen that u just put the brand new spark plugs in without gaping them would I have to gap them

Most new ones come pregapped you can check to be sure but 9/10 you’re good out the box

Question. I own a 2017 kia optima hybrid n took it to shell for gas, after that day my car shakes.. n it has a hard time accelerating n stutters. I'm curious to know if running my car till the fuel is gone n wait to replace my spark plugs n also add fuel injector cleaner??? Any suggestions help. Thank you guys

I had the same problem about two years ago in my truck, but I just ran the gas out near empty and filled it back up and it didn't do it again... Just figured had some bad gas

Yes. I did my car yesterday. Old plugs were ngk. I went with Bosch. I swear mpg went up 7 mpg on the avg computer display. It averages 49 mpg now. Hopefully it continues. I was averaging 42. 2017 optima hybrid.

You didn’t check the gap on the new plugs plus no anti-seize on the treads it’s going in to a aluminum head

Plugs are pre gap and I have never had an issue

They sell pregapped and untapped. Ungapped is cheaper but you have to gap them. If you gap them wrong your car won’t fire and it will be dead 😂 buy the gapped ones, only a few bucks more.

invest in harbor freights LED $17.99 5000 Lumens hanging shop lite. That will surely enhance ur go pro lighting. Just my observation. I Purchased two @ that price. Guess what, these same lites came back for $15.99 w/a coupon code a week later, oh well.
