Thanks Weldon, I don't work fast, lol...but all in it took approximately 15hrs, about 10 of that was taking the engine apart, and surprisingly it went back together faster than I thought it would. The Cloyes chain install video was extremely helpful, I couldn't have captured that process as well as they do...that's why I didn't bother videoing it.

15 hours or so for a first time is pretty darn good! The flat rate is around 10 hours so you can see guys meeting the time if doing it alot. Most jobs go together faster these days. Most parts, connectors, etc really only fit in one place so reassembly is generally straight forward.

Are they any brand of chains or specialty kit designed better than OEM that won’t stretch as easily or much what do you recommend thanks

The ones I used in this video are holding up well, Cloyes have been around making performance parts for years, and I feel they make good quality parts.
