It is so cool this guy is out here with these kids they are learning simple things that people today don't teach their kids like installing it by hand first until it is tight so you know it is not cross threaded really cool

Next you can teach the kids to drive the ram so they can pick up parts for the Ford. Remember kids right tighty,left loosey. It was halfway through the 2008 production year they changed the heads and went to 1 piece plugs, how to tell is if you got the brown plug boots your laughing.

what size socket for the plugs? I put a 5/8 on and it's way too big! I've never used a smaller one before. My socket set only came with 5/8 and 3/4.

The socket was a 9/16. I use the ARES 11010 socket. The vehicle has 210K on it now runs great.

I have the same Truck with over 118,500 miles thinking of changing the spark plug know do I replace the boots as well?

If the boots aren't cracked, I usually leave them alone. These plugs are coil over plug, if you are not getting misfire codes, you should be fine. However, I am not a Ford technician. I am a back of the truck, use the parking lot type amateur. If you are having some misfire issues, definitely get a mechanic you trust to run a scan of the vehicle to ensure something more sinister is not waiting for you.

For me, it was the passenger side rear.

Great production. Great kids. Easy operation and instruction. Now, ford engineers why did it take that long to solve the spark plug issue? Why buried the last two spark plugs? Ford is a moron company. Never again will i buy ford. Just can't trust them
