Not needed on every oil change. You can change it at every second. but there is a seeb filter inside the transmission which when clogged can make a mess. This is why oil change with these 5AT should be always done at 30k miles. These 5AT can last 500k if serviced properly.

@@The_Touring_Jedi YIO! The ATF filter=$20, remove large bottom polymer panel with 11 plastic plugs and two metal bolts. Plus and play=easy peasey!

That Honda 5AT transmission is actually similiar build to manual one as each gear has it's own clutch plates except 1st gear and is not typical planetary gear transmission. This is why procedure is little bit different. If that oil is changed regulary it can outlast everything on that CRV.

2.6L for 2WD. BUT AWD is 3.7L

It is actually 2.5L for 4WD. And 2.6 for 2WD. But every time i change mine, it always drains 3L. Mine is a 2010 4WD CRV.
