I have a 2010 version same set up as this one in the video. I bought it 2 yrs ago just like it is. 5 months having the car the transmission goes out and the axeles so I replaced the axles and transmission then I had to get a engine mount and a transmission mount for some reason the mfr didnt a transmission mount and the engine mount needed to be replaced . I've been spending money on my car nonstop for 2 yrs cause the mfr who had it didnt keep up the maintenance work on it. I had to change the brakes, the rotors pads, flush the engine, had the entire car bleed out cause it had air in the cooling system and caused alot of problems. Just recently had the car turned up completely. Now I'm having to replace every part on the front suspension due to the rims. Over a period of time your going to have to keep an eye on that that's the main thing when rolling big rims. I had to replace tire rods inner and outer and 2 weeks ago I put a brand new rack and pinions in there cause the car would drift left alot and when I run it to 70mph on the freeway it was shaking come to find out from taking the car so much to the shop that rack and pinions was very bad. The part itself at autozone was like $300. I took it to my mechanic and it took 3 hours and had to get an alignment. Now I have to replace the power steering pump then the struts front and back with absorbers cause hitting potholes I can feel it. I'll have to replace the control arms as well as my last thing. This shit has been very expensive labor wise. It's cool to ride clean but when you dont keep up the maintenance work on a car that's on 22s and up your going to have transmission problems and front suspension problems. My car was used when I bought it so it's been a experience for me about time I'm done I'll basically have a new car and again I have this same setup as this gentleman has only difference is my cars red and I dont have roofing in which I'll be doing that once I'm done paying for the rest of the repairs that I got left Salute

@@wayne31able yeah I was aware of this video being old😎👊 . I'm a big fan of all Chevy whips it's my thing. I get stopped by guys around my way asking to join there car clubs and things which is fine but I tell them everything has to come after I'm done with the maintenance work I'm putting into the car. Having a dope car is one thing but if it's not running properly then it's like you dont even have a car. Will be getting another whip once I'm done

So the rims do messed up your car like dat i was thinking about getting some i dont know now
@rjbythelake97864 жыл бұрын
@@nicoledeidre36 it's how you going about things slapping rims on a car is cool but if you dont have the proper build for your car to sustain them type of rims then yes your going to have problems. It cost money. It cost money to have a good front suspension and a good transmission alot of guys come in the game fresh and arent aware if you dont put money into a good suspension and trans then your car isn't going to last very long. Cause usually you'll have to upgrade. When you buy a car it comes factory when you building and putting big rims on cars 9 times out of 10 your going to have to upgrade your factory parts cause the car for 1 isn't designed for pushing big rims. Again, my car was bought used a 2010 and the former owner just didnt keep up the maintenance work on it cause he had moved onto a few other projects.im have my impala transmission rebuild in 2 weeks it'll practically be a new car again. You go big rims the first thing that usually goes or give you problems is the transmission. Keep an eye on your front suspension. Only thing I got left on minds now is the transmission, struts and control arms. I'm getting it painted sky blue and upgrading my alarm system again once it comes out the transmission shop

I just put a brand new power steering pump on it too about a week ago . The parts are cheap its just the labor isn't cheap but I'm just about done replacing everything up under the hood. It tells alot better since I put those new rack and pinions in

Too bad the rims are worth more than the car lol. I hated this car. Big and slow. No rear view visibility and everything is cheap plastic.
