My girlfriends 2012 Kia Sorento backup camera suddenly stopped working. It is one that displays on the rear view mirror. I suspect the problem is the camera, however, nothing displays on the mirror, not even the red, yellow and green lines. This has me wondering if the problem may be something else. Any thoughts on this? Or is this still likely the camera failed? Thanks.

No way to know 100% without taking apart the camera, and testing the video output to the mirror to see if an image is displayed.

Where did you get that trim kit the one I got I've had to cut to make it fit around the unit I have a power acoustik cpaa-70m now it looks like crap.

Do the stearing wheel controls for the sterio still work with the kenwood unit?

Yes they do, an SWC adapter was required (not included with the head unit).

Its more than likely a PAL camera, it needs to be NTSC, if yours is PAL you need another camera. Good news though, we can sell you one! [e-mail], shoot us an email

You need a capacitor regulator. About 5 dollars

I installed a replacement camera and know the image is upside down? And no its not installed wrong, it only fits one way.
