Perfect. I was a little nervous pulling off all those tiny connectors, but they all went back together okay. Thank you. Old computer now good as new.

Awesome step by step! I thought I had to repair (re-seal) both speakers, but only had to do the right speaker. Didn't really need to remove the logic board, but glad I did, just to verify. Thanks for the great video!

Thanks for the tutorial, I have to try it in practice yet but you showed and explained very well. If I can make a suggestion, I would recommend to use a spudger to disconnect plugs from MB and other parts, what do you think?

Hi. Very nice explicit video. I have a question. How to check if the subwoofer is working on MacBook Pro 15" 2011 without opening the laptop ? Few days ago I had a cracking noise on the right side of my laptop. I was suspecting that the right speaker is broken. I went to a guy to fix it, after 40 minutes he called me saying that he replaced the right speaker and the subwoofer...saying that they are attached together. The sound is not cracking anymore on the right side. But I feel the sound it's not so loud and bassy anymore as it was before. I'm thinking that the subwoofer was broken and he only disconnected the subwoofer and left only the 2 speakers working. Any advice? I'll really appreciate.

Would've been handy to mention leaving some connections open if replacing both speakers.🤔 Otherwise, top 🍌!🤓 Would love to know what Philips head screwdriver you use: I have several but they all have fins that are too thick. 😕

Hello! I followed the repair on my MacBook step by step but after changing them I only hear the right speaker, I disassembled everything again to make sure it was connected and everything was well assembled, I tried again with the old speaker and did the same (just hear the right) what can it be? thanks and congratulations on the great video !!

Did you test it with the back cover open? I would put the Mac on side as I play something with the cover open to see if anything is going to the speaker. It very well could be that the replacement part is faulty. If you see that nothing is going to the speaker, try to look at the logic board and see if there is any corrosion.

2:39 you mention reconnect the hard drive and speaker to the logic board but i don't see how you connected it
@GRIBSOFT4 жыл бұрын
It’s self explanatory. The reason I don’t show it is because something was messed up with the footage post production and I couldn’t go back to reshoot so I just cut the part out.

@@GRIBSOFT how is it self explanatory i don't understand :P
@GRIBSOFT4 жыл бұрын
What I meant by self explanatory is that they can only be connected in one place. If you disconnected them it’s self explanatory how they would be reconnected.

How did u put the speaker back so fast? I’m having trouble putting mine back! Can u help please?

You can use double sided tape to hold it in place.

phew, looks like it's my right speaker that blew a fart, seems like that is the easier to get to of the two, but to be honest, the speakers on laptops suck but you gotta use them sometimes
