If I had a choice of Side by side, I would either choose a Polaris or a Kawasaki Mule. Those are my top 2 choices. You mentioned lighting. Have you thought about adding some hand controlled spotlights to the front support arms. Like the ones police cars have. I think they would look great and give you some extra lighting when you needed it. And of course they fold down and away when you don't need them. 👍 The Ranger is a nice UTV! Definitely a great machine! Thanks for sharing Chad!

I have been impressed with the Mule units too. I see that they seem to last a LONG time. I've actually thought about some of those spotlights (like on the old police cruisers)!

I would get the mule. I have a 2023 Polaris ranger 1000 eps. It’s a solid machine I will admit. The mule is just built better though.

I have been utilizing my Can-Am Outlander 2 up four-wheeler for about five years. It is invaluable. I came across a 2012 500 EFI Ranger on trade. It has the top and the windshield that is four by four single cab. I'm tempted to utilize this instead of my four-wheeler

I am curious about how much and how quickly metal would rust on a UTV. If you go on roads and it gets the same salt and brine that vehicles do then I'm sure it would. Otherwise I think it would take much much longer. Our 2021 Landmaster is mostly steel. I'll let you know if / when it starts to rust.

Nice Chad, really comprehensive review. Question: For some reason I had it in my mind that the 4WD wasn't working on your Polaris. Am I remembering incorrectly? (I am getting pretty old!) Cheers!

You are correct - AWD still wasn't working. When you saw me loading this on the trailer in the video - I was taking it to trade it in - stay tuned. :)
