Great video... unfortunately I still needed to take it in to the shop to get it done. I could not get the cap behind the low-beam headlight to budge. Even tried one of those jar-top removers from the kitchen -- no luck... oh well, that was the only thing that held me back; the video is well done and if not for that I could have completed the operation. Thanks!

Lehew, your video was extremely helpful! I successfully replaced both low beam headlights on my Forester last night, with your help. My only advice would be to alter your greeting to your viewers. I’m a girl, and when I heard “What’s goin’ on fellas?” I felt a twinge that almost made me stop watching. I’m glad I didn’t stop the video, and I hope your new videos can start out with “What’s goin’ on guys?” Most of us have accepted that ‘guys’ is gender neutral. If others have an issue with that perhaps ‘Subaru DIY ers’ could be an option😊. Thank you for the great tutorial! ~Amy from Iowa

I have a 2011 Forester 2.0D when I did this low beam bulb change passenger side, it turned out there was no plastic H11 low beam connector and the bulb was just a H7 normal one with a metal clip to hold it in place. It changed ok but i was suprised to find it to be different after watching this.

Replaced drivers low beam, checked all the fuses mentioned that applied, the drivers side low beam still doesn't come on. Any further suggestions please. Thank you.

Checked fuses and bulb still not working just the low beam on the passenger side is not working. Dunno what the next step is the connectors looked clean too.

Tip when doing low beam on drivers side, instead of undoing the battery, just undo the windshield screw holder, same room as passenger.

Hi I know this was made a year ago so I hope you see this comment as I was changing my low light on the passenger side I had to use a tool to get the cap off so I could get to the bulb the cap flew off and landed somewhere under the hood of the car I cannot see it anywhere or reach it what do I do????

I have done that many times! You will want to definitely use a flashlight to help you look. The cap could have fallen down onto the ground or onto the splash shield as well. Good luck!

@@LehewTech I think it feel under the splash shield or in the “hub cap” area it’s on the front passenger side I looked under with a head lamp and flashlight I cannot see it or reach it anywhere 😥 is it dangerous to go a few days without the dust cap while I wait for a new one?

It shouldn't be a problem to drive around for a few days. I see many cars that are missing caps.. they are good to have tho.
