After watched this video i decided to replace my clucth be my self instead of going to workshop, and af course me and my cousin we was "clever" and did a bit different, end up with same troubles.I want to tell that this man is doing every single step with reason and if you follow him you never gonna be in trouble, REAL MASTER 💯 BTW i found wrong clutch in my car "single mass" from 1.6 and i have 2.0 so now it runs so nice with a correct one.Thank you for this video!

@E69apeTheMatrix4203 жыл бұрын
A strap around the anti roll bar and the flywheel a couple times. Teeth stop it spinning when you torque up: It's self tightening when it starts to turn because the strap just gets tighter. Amazing work man. Need a hose into bottle to blead clutch good cos it sucks back the fluid each pump meaning you never suck back in air. Can just pump 10 times. Leave clutch up, refil reservoir before tightening nipple and it will have blead some more in that time. This job is much longer than the older 1.9 TDI PD engines! The same but everything is a bit harder and more hidden bolts.

You got my sincerest respect for that good and hard work. So I am from germany and can´t expect you guys comming over :-) I´m doing a lot of stuff on my car (Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDI 125kw) on my own. I do it like you do, outside with no garage or anything protecting me against the weather. Changing the cylinder head, turbo, DPF, wheel bearing (front right), oil pump (yes Audi problem with the hexagon oil pump drive shaft) or diesel injectors (sh-te Siemens injectors and no good aftermarket parts to get to replace them). Well I own that car since Feb. 2010 and it has right now nearby 400k km = 250k miles. But when my clutch needed to be replaced (320k km = 200k miles) and no one was able to assist me I decided to ask a friend who owns a repair shop to do it. I thought it would be to dangerous and to tough to lift that gearbox alone and gave in.

True man! True mechanical. It is clear that nothing can stop him. It is a real sacrifice to stay under the cars regardless of the weather

You must be tall! I always do the top side first before jacking it up. Makes it easier to work on at ground level for me. I put wheels back on and jack down before finishing the top again. Absolutely no chance I can lift a box back up and on without a transmission scissor jack. You are in extremely good shape to do this day in day out! Consider an electric massage chair.lol. keep up the good work. I really enjoy these videos.

@Andyspeeder73 жыл бұрын
Been there, you can keep that challenge, can deal with the cold but when you start getting leaks in your wet weather gear it goes from bad to worse and when the water in the ground is so wetnthat if you drop a bolt you need to chase it down the street before it gets to a drain...... Stay away from that challenge mucker 😆😆
