wouldnt really know. except the only thing that usuaully hits the brace are downpipe resonators. Since the APR downpipe does not use a resonator, it would be assumed that it would fit.

@cavinsoo no, i havent tried that one. i don't want to drill holes in my car personally. but most say its even better than the UB.

Won’t the brace scrape even if the car is lowered about 1.25”. Have you scraped your brace on a speed bump, on a driveway, and/or a medium? Thank in advance.

i was never lowered. but i had tons of room personally. with over an inch lowered, i suppose you might scrape on speed bumps..

Thank you so much for your videos! I'm at about 40,000 mi on my Mk VI GTI and I'm starting to experience a significant amount of creaking coming from various parts of the car when travelling over uneven terrain (from the hatch area, doors, etc). Do you think this would tighten up the chassis enough to reduce the torsion that I believe is causing these noises or am I mis-diagnosing the problem?

its a little late now, but it will help. 40k is when your door seals are worn down 1-2mm. That is why the doors squeak on curbs. Go outside and push on your back doors in and out. You will hear the squeak. Only way to properly fix it is get new door seals which are longer length and not worn down at the top edge where they rest on the door jam.

+DarkSim905 I ended up replacing door seals but still had the sound of rubber rubbing on metal and traced the sound back to my hatch I think it was the ECS hatch pop kit causing a poor seal and then the rubbing. Since uninstalling that kit I've noticed the noises come down a lot. Hope that helps.

that is a very controversial subject... and people snap bolts sometime. I stopped using torques on it.. and i do it by hand.

Are you plac in the forum? If yes, I saw your post with regards to flange nuts. Did you buy a few of them? Can you please tell me where you get them? I need 4. Somehow there is no front brace in my Golf R and 4 nuts are missing.
