This Mavs run was fantastic. Although Dirk was the only all-star on the team, every game there would be somebody who show up and help him. Kidd, Jet and Tyson are surprisingly consistent. J.J. Barea, Peja showed up against LA, Marion had a big game against OKC, Deshawn Steveson 3s in the final game, even bench warmer like Brian Cardinal, Ian Mahinmi and Corey Brewer, all had contribution when they are subbed into games.

we need an nba like this again, where there are multiple good teams. back then, we had the mavs, lakers, celtics, okc, bulls, magic, and spurs, all competitive teams. now we just have the unstoppable warriors & unstoppable cavs. very annoying. i would like to see different team(s) in the finals this year! tired of the cavs/warriors shit.
@suryap45277 жыл бұрын
how are u tired of it, its been 2 years. And back then the magic, bulls were pretender teams like the spurs are right now. Having 2 teams as good as the cavs and warriors is exciting and these 2 teams would crush any of those squads back then.

Surya p so then what's the point of the playoffs? Why do I sit through 3 rounds just to know the warriors and cavs are gonna be in the finals. There's no fun in that shit. It's boring. I wish I could have 2001-2010 NBA back the west was a war zone the east mostly belonged to the cavs and pistons but the league had competive series top to bottom. I had a reason to tune into every game of the playoffs. Now why do I care if it's just gonna be the warriors and cavs in the finals?
