I know. One minute she's totally into her, the next her brain takes so long to kick in I consider oiling her sides like that tin man. She looked so confused and on the brink of horrified at what happened, like she'd never considered it a possibility but we're never shown what she actually feels about Paige, and she blows off her phonecall so it seems like she's trying to avoid her because she doesn't want her but then when she tries to address that in public and Paige asks her to let go of it she seems genuinely hurt and upset, indicating she was more emotionally invested than previously thought, and yet she still just doesn't seem to realize how much she wants her because she goes ahead and dumps her the very next day. I think there's some sort of delay between her brain and her heart/soul.

Same! Maya was ok but she was sketchy as fuck and rude, she couldn't talk to Emily's mom without dissing her wtf. The way I see it she was just having fun with Emily and then she kinda fell in love with her but it was too late. Yes Paige was a psycho at first but after she dealed with her internalized homophobia all she had to offer to Emily was support and love. Even after they broke up she was there for her. Their relationship was the most genuine and cute out of all the other flings she's had. Nobody took care of Emily like Paige did. Sorry for my speech but I love them so much, I want them back so bad :/ I hope Paige comes stronger and stays with Emily. That girl needs some love and support, my poor baby is so sad and alone :/

I dunno, but I secretly hope that she got fired or quit. She just acted kind of mean to Paige and biased towards Emily. I get why Paige would think that Emily did something underhanded to receive all that acclaim since it was her first day back and everyone else had been busting their asses to get to where they are. A literally did put HGH in her cream so Paige wasn't even wrong about the steroids either. And with her history with Alison the whole thing clicks together. But none of that would've even happened if Coachprah just kept her mouth shut a couple of minutes and not rained down Paige's parade. I hate teachers that discourage students. That's the opposite of what they're meant to be doing. She should be fostering community, not marginalizing individuals. It's clear Paige put a lot of thought into those gifts and subconsciously modeled them after Emily's friendship bracelet because she was desperately trying to please her and hoping this would bring them closer and Coachprah ruined everything.

I thought Maya looked old and came off way too strong.. she acted desperate, needy and controlling. Emily didn't look half as interested in her as she is in watching Paige swim. Maya was so boring I fell asleep during rewatches of her scenes as nothing really happens in them, and no kiss in this entire show has ever come close to the pure perfection that was Paige and Emily's poolside kiss.
