I watched this start to finish thinking I might get lucky and find out where the fuel filter is located but no such luck... is there a fuel filter on these models? cause it looks like you can purchase one but for the life of me i can not locate it.

On this model it’s built in the fuel pump assembly. You can always check with autozone and ask for a fuel filter for your car. Theyll tell you for sure if it’s in the assembly fuel pump or in the fuel line

It’s in the fuel pump assembly. It’s built in now. At least in this model it is.

why after replacing my fuel pump with an orig. ford pump; after 2 months I lose pressure and have the same problems? hope this comment gets to you and can answer what the reason is or what I can do to deliver the same psi fuel delivery required to engine..

It can be a number of different things. Maybe there’s air in the system. Maybe the fuel pump is malfunctioning. I’ve installed new fuel pumps only to find out they weren’t working too good. It can also be the fuel injectors .

I have a 2016 ford focus se and was told I have 2 fuel pumps but can't find anything that says that. Do you happen to know if that's true??

If you have a focus with direct fuel injection motor yes. One is called high pressure fuel pump and is usually located on top of the engine. If you google it , it should pop up. Then you have your fuel pump assembly which is located inside the tank which is the one i made the video on it. Like i said google it and you’ll see a picture of it. Then locate it on your car which usually sits close to the engine on top.

@@chuythemobilemechanic reason I ask is I got a p0087 after filling up gas.. car would shake and have no power and would eventually stall. Weird thing is sometimes car runs fine and other cant go a block without stalling 5 times check engine light comes and go's with the problem

I’m a mobile mechanic and I was doing a job for a customer. They put sugar in her tank so i had to take it down and clean it

@@michelle-bx6ji the new cars have a built in filter in the fuel pump. I did recommend to the customer to replace it but she couldn’t afford an extra $275 which is the cost of the fuel pump. I did check the valves and there was no need for it. these new fuel pumps are built for that kind of stuff.
