Absolute dreamcar.. I actually like this Mk2 more than the Mk3. The reason being it looks more smooth, and has a better interior in my opinion. Mk3 has a "better" engine ofc, and this everything-in-the-dash MMI, so I like that this interior looks better and that you can fit your own custom MMI. Its actually a huge deal to me, cuz with that you get more options with connectivity making the car completely up to date, even though its a decade old. Absolute dreamcar..

Great review guys! Traded our 2.0 8J FWD Black Manual back to the dealer after a few years, on a 8J TTRS Black Manual last year and no-one noticed for a while! :-) It had the 034 Intake fitted and a tune I believe, but need to get it to a dyno to find out one day. The fixed external spoiler was the only visual clue, but unfortunately all the on road hoons in other performance cars are always trying it on at the lights. Been there done that many years ago, so its just a econo cruiser most times! ;-)

What is it like going from a 2.0 FWD TT to the TT RS? I currently daily my 2.0 8j but I am looking at upgrading to an 8J TTRS manual.

@@williamkirsopp4373 Its AWESOME! You will notice two main differences - 1. POWER! 2. Handling is different in the steering feel being not quite as light as the FWD but still direct and satisfying. A test drive will set you right and justify the extra expense.
