ijustinw Yes got it june 14 fab car 2.0l diesel auto get 50+mpg and plenty of ooomh when you need it,prob not as good as the 2.5 but couldn't stretch that far and the car tax in ireland is crazy on anything over 2.0l..If you are lucky enough to afford one don't hesitate,test drove audi not a patch,new honda accord was lovely but bit small,love me bm never ever changing her...

Swift power She's silver buddy,auto the only one to buy avoid manuals,50+mpg from dublin to roscommon,get about 35-40 school runs,beautiful to drive,gear change is silent you don't even notice it,8 speed,280 a year tax,mines 440 fully comp,love audi's too but this is my 3rd bmw can't beat them tbh,Interestingly my mate is trading in his vw passat for a 3 series his passat just had gear box clutch and fly wheel all go 2500 euros,and when he was looking to trade in his passat for his bmw 3 series the sales guy said did you get clutch/gear box/fly wheel done common fault apparently,his missus loves audi's so she said what about audi a4 and salesman said nightmare trouble like the passat!! Don't know tbh but he had audi's there for sale aswell so can't see him lying,go for the bmw mate you won't be sorry,leather,cruise,parking sensors front and back electric seats all standard!! Throw in huge boot awesome power when you floor it and auto and 50mpg what more could you want,let me know how you get on and ask me anything you like buddy...

Was driving a4 before, sold it, so now already looking 2 months for the car, a lot of them with the high milage on the done deal. I really like black colour, the white is so expensive. What should I look 1st of all when buying a car. Its cost a lot, and don't want to put more money in it. Never had bmws before. Really looking forward to get one. Like silver too man. Cool! Here in the Philippines, BMW is lending some 90 units of the 520d--all black ones--for the 45th ADB Annual Governors' Meeting. The cars, which cost Php4,990,000 each, will be used for just four days, or the entire duration of the event from May 2 to 5, and BMW will sell the cars with a discounted price after the event -just sharing :)

To be honest, I cannot really give you an answer to that question as it is not my car and I have not spent a whole lot of time with it to be able to give a good answer. But from what I observed, the diesel clatter is there, but not that noticeable when you're in the car.

I drove the Audi A6 and this ,both with 2.0 Diesel engine .Bmw has more 10 more hp but the audi is more stylish and better built all around and I also loved the interior of Audi .

Of the big three, BMW, Audi and Mercedes, it is Audi who have the best quality appearance in the interior. German auto magazines think so too, they rate the BMW interior appearance as "gut", meaning good, and Audi "sehr gut" meaning very good, Mercedes quality appearance is often called "solide", or solid. In this quality video, you can see the BMWs interior panels appear abit plasticy, especially the lower panels on the seats, check out videos for the 2012 Audi A6, and you will see what I mean.

The 4.7l/100km is for combined city/highway driving, this car was just driven around the city as it is a test drive unit and it doesn't see a whole lot of highway runs.

Malaysian models do not have Adblue as Adblue only applies to cars with Euro 6 emissions standard as far as I know.

Yes, it changes a bit over the different modes if the car is equiped with active drive EDC suspension.

over here in Malaysia, the car is 2 plus times more expensive in the US ! for this particular 520d is worth rm 333800 ( 107 ,677 american dollars ) but in the us is only worth US 46,900 dollars which is only ( rm 145,390 ) pffttt so cheap in the USA !! see the difference ! a Malaysian who buys a bmw here in MY is probably richer than an American who buys it there ! damn cheap in the USA ! haha
