I did end up doing it thanks to your walkthrough. I had to do it without removing the wheels because my buddy had key lock lug nuts he lost the key to. It took about 2hr for me with a little help from a friend in an apartment parking lot spot with a floor jack and a bit of patience. His car is a 2013 journey 2.4l 2 bolts for the alternator as well.

I got the tool, but i can't get the new belt on. ​Is there a certain way to put in on? Certain pulley to start with? @AnythingAuto

@klong2023 with any belt it's just patience. While the tensioner is loose try putting the belt on the grooved pulleys and the final pulley before letting the tensioner go is a smooth pulley. Grooved ones are harder to slide the belt on.

changed all the lug nuts for aftermarket ones the originals are hideous, my dad owns the same car it drains the battery found out the alternator works properly but have a short and pull out amp when vehicle is parked will change it

Oh I know! Her other car looked the same. Faux fur everywhere even on the windshield wiper control. I've seen it all at this point. Her new lug nuts are much nicer we installed. I hate 2 piece nuts.
