Stock engine, stock cats and pipes before muffler and after install of Magnaflow exhaust 12288.

I just had a magnaflow dual system put on my 5.7 2019 Ram Classic. I LOVE it. It sounds aggressive as Hell at start up and take off., but mellow at idling and cruising at lower RPMs. Exactly how a HEMI should sound.

I have the same muffler on my 2012 Ram. It doesn't sound the greatest when the MDS kicks in. It's annoying enough that I've used that auto-stick while cruising at low speeds to keep the MDS from kicking in

Great truck! Help please!!! Not many Jeeps with magna flows on from what i can see so having to go further afield... I can't decide between the 18" or the 22" oval magnaflow. i'm running a 5.7 v8 Hemi Jeep Commander and going to just swap out the muffler, keeping the stock resonator at the rear. I'm told neither should drone with the stock resonator still in place but will the 18" still be too loud. I want the deep growl but don't want to piss my wife nor neighbours off! I'm not young enough any more unfortunately! Anyone had experience with either and keeping a stock resonator on? Will it be a lot quieter than this? Cheers

I guess we will find out, a good friend has the Magnaflow without resonator and it sounds really good. I think his is the shorter muffler and I want to keep the drone out. so I am going with the 18" muffler. Appointment has been set so we will see.
