2012 Ford Fusion SEL (POV Drive)

I just bought a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0 V6, with 170k miles, that is in great condition, inside and out. I paid $3800 for it. It seems to be a very solid vehicle even with the high mileage. Literally everything still works on it. The only thing I could find wrong was a weird rubble noise during acceleration from take off, that goes away after I get going a little.

I drove a 2018 Ford Fusion to decide what car I want for grad and I didn’t like how light weight the steering felt and too sensitive brakes so I chose a Lexus with heavier steering wheel and better handling barely have to fix it and it’s a 2010 it’s crazy I feel like newer cars are worse at handling than older cars

@@sonyakor6593 yeah newer models of this aren’t the best, this gen and body and engine and power train choice was the best and was perfect, just bought an 06 Lexus is250 awd as my first car it was family owned and was babied and it drives like it’s brand new still with 158k miles on the odo, never want to buy another brand, car drives amazing and has that amazing timeless design as all Lexus vehicles from the early to mid 2000s have

Just few tips from experience. Get your power steering replaced under 150k is covered by Ford. Watch for malfunctioning PCV valve because can suck your oil and run the engine dry. And the famous transmission seal leaks. Other than that I like it.

I drive one almost exactly like this one! Mine just has the black leather interior, factory spoiler and the 2.5L Inline 4

The4-D Had it since 2018 and it just hit 120K. MPG is okay, averages around 22 which isn't the greatest but its decent.

The4-D Runs like a champ. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to start after letting it sit for a few hours after it ran though

Does this car do well around corners at higher speeds? I need a car with good handling.

Taking it to the track? Its about the same as any commuter, but the power and torque the v6 model puts out combined with the lightweight of the car in my opinion it has a slight advantage it is very quick

Right, so like I said in the review this is basically what comes after the Ford 500 extremely reliable car, really had to purposely kill it if you wanted to get rid of it These Fusions are great especially the later models with this body style

What engine is in your fusion? Ive been looking at ford recently for a first car and have been split between this model or a ford escape. Edit: just saw the engine in the beginning of the video.

Lol this model year is pretty good but they do offer the newer fusion with a ecoboost v6 as well If possible I would skip the escape and get the edge
