I purchased a 2010 Raptor with all of the bells and whistles for the first year Raptors. Its a late year model and has the 6.2L and I absolutely love it. It's in Molten Orange and all original, it was owned by a 68yo female and had 83k miles when I purchased it. Absolutely no regrets about it.

Good purchase, we highly recommend them! And highly dread the day we ever part with ours.

Midlife crisis owner checking in. When at 40+ you ask yourself how much fun do you / did you have in your life, and realise you want to up it a bit, this truck does it. Love to drive it, look at it in the parking lot when getting in and out, and yes, I have a matching mini-raptor on my dash as well. I love driving to and from work. And yes, gas mileage is horrible. Mainly because I take the longer (often dirt) roads.

We love everything about that. This is how people should shop vehicles. Enjoyment is way more important than MPG.

A vehicle for me was always more than going point A to B. I have absolutely no reason to leave the house on a daily basis but I do to drive the truck. For me it’s such a visceral experience. I added a pedal commander and it upped the fun factor even more. Thanks for the video!

ECOBOOST means," When your injectors quit just short of 100,000 kms, and the truck goes over 104,000 kms by the time the dealer gets it, you're out of warranty! And because we build such a POS engine, the engine has to be pulled, destroying the lower control arms, all of the fasteners on the top of the motor have corroded so they have to be drilled and the injectors have seized so bad that a machine shop had to DRILL THE INJECTORS OUT!!! Does the dealer do all 6 injectors at this time? Nooooo, why would they do that? Cost to replace 3 injectors? North of $7000!! Ford refused to honour warranty. Ford has been traded in, last Ford I'll ever buy. Now driving a fire engine red Kia Soul and loving it!

@@TexasTruckChannel oh me too, I happen to like the clean lines myself. You are actually the only other person that has voiced that besides myself that I've heard. It is such an awesome truck just as it stands. Great for formal "nights on the town" or a day in the back forty. Mine is all stock, but the 6.2 makes it sound so good. I have a sticker on the back window of mine to inform people that I don't drive it like a sports car. It reads "Not Fast, Just Loud" it has already proven itself in the Baha 1000, I don't feel the need to skunk anyone at the traffic light. I guess since then these only came in the four colors that mine must also be a Tuxedo Black as well, but it has a chrome coating over the paint, which gives it that metalic look. It has rainbows in the paint when you look at it in the direct sunlight. Your interior is black just like mine. I was so happy that it matched the rest of the truck. Red is ok if you like that, or have a red truck. Not my style though. Thanks for sharing your video and Raptor though. I've been a Raptor addict since 2010. I am partial to all, Gen 1 and Gen 2, but the years 10 through 14 are my favorites. They have that beefy feel that the Gen 2 just doesn't have. I have over 42 smaller versions of Raptors, both Gen's. I love love love my truck.

4 years late to the comments but if i had a gen 1 (currently have a gen 2) then mine would be cammed with an agressive side dump. THAT wouod be obnoxious, lol. I had a 2012 F150 Leriat FX4 which shared the same interrior as the Raptor and growing up around trucks, ive never had one (before that particular F150) that was as luxurious. It had all the bells and whistles with the 3.5TT. I was around 156k miles before i sold it and the damn thing had no issues. On these gen 1 Raptors, i see peiple pushing 500k miles and they claim theirs is still runninh strong as well.
