For all of you saying shit about this truck not being under 20k. There's plenty of trucks under 20k high mileage like he said but under 20k just because you don't live somewhere, where they sell them under 20k it doesn't mean it isn't true.

I watched the full video, and I get the point he is trying to make. I did a Nationwide search online and as of today, there are only 19 examples of a Raptor for sale under $20 grand. Although, technically, he is correct that one can be bought for that price, it is not fair to showcase one almost twice the price. He should have actually reviewed one that is selling for under 20 grand or change the title to under $35k.

I recently bought a 2011 raptor svt, for $31k had 115k miles but it came with a pile of service records from the 1st/original owner. Literally, she didn’t every single thing the mechanic recommended! Her husband was a surgeon and she spared no expense! Instead of rebuilding the shocks, she replaced them at 110k miles. I paid probably $3k more than I normally would have for peace of mind and I figured that knowing everything about the truck was worth it. She drove mostly highway miles and never once took it off roasting (she was in her late 50’s). Ultimately, I decided to be ok with a high mileage raptor since the engines are built so well. It also averages 13.7, which is quite impressive considering I drive aggressive with my new Corsa Exhaust. I figure I can drive this for 10+ Years and sell it for at least $20k with 200k miles so to me, it was worth it. Not to mention insurance and registration are much cheaper than the newer raptors. $300 or so for two year registration and $120/month for full coverage! One other thing I did was have the Ford dealership completely inspect the truck... the technician said it was the cleanest raptor engine he had ever seen! Not one leak and was in great shape. Overall, best purchase I’ve ever made!!!

You cannot Compare a 2012 Raptor to a 2020 Raptor Fairly because that is comparing Apples to Carrots! The 2012 is a Gen 1 and is 2 years into that model that being said the Gen 1 Raptors ARE HOLDING their VALUE UP to 80% after 6 years which is SOMETHING I would like to see the Current Generation try to do! The 6.2L SVT V8 in the Raptor is a a TANK and it can do allot more with less than the Current Eco Twin Turbo V6! I just purchased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Hemi V8 Trailhawk fully loaded but before going making the final decision on which vehicle we were getting I test drove a 2020 Raptor Crew Cap fully loaded and I hated it! The dealership gave it to me for the weekend as an extended test drive and I put about 240 miles on the demo Raptor which was Setup the same way as the one I was looking at and it was like driving a regular F150 in comparison to my brother's 2014 Raptor that I have driven several times. Ford going to Turbos in Raptor was a Choice to Stay within CAFE standards but they should have keep the 6.2L as an OPTION!!! I test drove the Expedition and Raptor at the Ford Dealership and I was not IMPRESSED with the Performance! I am hoping that RAM will Release the Rebel Widebody with the Hellcat engine and I will buy one when they come out!

@@BenHardyCars I live in FL and the Turbo Lag can be an issue at sea level that is the MAJOR Reason I did not get the 2020 Raptor! After Talking to my brother who happens to be a General Manager at a Major South East Dealership Consortium that does Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler the Dodge Ram Raptor Killer will be out in a couple of years and that is coming from a Major Conference Call that they just had! I will wait for a Ram with a Hellcat Engine and 8 speed Auto! I looked at the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk but it was not convenient at this time since I need the Grand more for Off Road use since we are building a new home on a 200 acres plot of land that we just purchased and the Truck will be needed in about 24-30 months when the house and barn are finished! This way I will have a Serious OFF Road Truck that can pull a trailer with the stuff I need plus the Grand Cherokee will have the add-ons I want like the Rear Steel Bumper with Swing Away Full SIze Matching Spare Tire along with the Matching Steel Front Bumper and Witch something like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aH7IZnulYt-EiMU

This "click bait" title thing you're doing lately is getting old. Cloth seats are not an option, only available for border patrol/govt. You've said in the past that your truck doesn't ride smooth yet you somewhat contradict that in this video. My own personal peeve, that sunroof cover is very easy to move. Either you're weak, at a bad angle while filming or there's something wrong with that one. My last comment as an audio enthusiast...... in all honesty that radio is actually very good. It might be slightly slow because we're use to faster times now, but aside from the atrocious color and the lack of having to most up to date apps, it's probably the best one of the 3 Sync systems. Built in hard drive for music storage, USB, Bluetooth (audio, hands free) DVD/CD I will admit though, the factory sub is a bit lacking.
