2012 Honda Accord Alternator Replacement

Just got my valve cover gasket seal replaced front and rear. And now they claim my alternator is bad. Haven’t had any issues until today 😊

was it necessary to take out the power steering reservoir?

@stanlee922 no. Coolant, yes. I have more videos on these cars where I don't. @@stanlee922get serpentine belt tool attach the proper size to your belt tensioner and pull towards you to release tension

If got a 2012 accord EX-L all power in the car flickers and the engine hesitate with the same pace as the lights like it's losing power or something I was thinking it may be the alternator

I had my all my lights flickering but no flickering lights on the dash board...I went through 3 alternator from my local auto parts like orielllys..and I went and got a used one from the junk yard same year as my 08 honda accord v6..unfortunately no warranty but it fixed my flickering lights that were flickering...and at times when using different brand of alternators that ain't the original brand for your car it can cause other issues..and one last thing is also with different brand alternators the connectors are different and don't click in good all the way so that's an issues also..hope this helps you out..

@@jaimeitoquiroz992 I bought one from rock auto a new one just to try out and see if that will fix my issues I'm thinking maybe a ground or something it's whatever it is it's definitely missing with the way the engine runs
