The check engine light came on in my car and I had just taken my car for a front brakes job a week ago.

same thing happened to my 2012 mazda 3 today. I went and had the check engine light checked. code p2009 and oreillys sells that part for 78.00. I will not be paying someone 240.00 to replace it...and now I have to go file my taxes and hope I get something back so I could pay for it. The only thing that sucks is now I can't go help look for a missing person...untill I get this fixed...blah

I think they did a good job diagnosing, but holy crap, they charge a lot of money just to replace the solenoids. It’s just undoing four bolts and snapping the connectors back on. I have the same issues: leaky gasket and P2009. Going to do it I think be garage myself.

I would have gotten a second opinion from a local repair shop in my opinion. Also, that oil level should be either between the 2 dots, or ideally at the top dot.

Yes, it looks like it was low. I didn't have time to get a 2nd opinion because I needed the car to drive to the airport ASAP.

Holy shit almost 1000 dollars!!!!!. I'm having a intake manifold code p2009 control ronner circuit low bak 1a. I don't know how it will cost me to fix it.

@@Jay_Rule yup the dealership wants me to 656 dollars for to replace my intake manifold control runner lower bank 1a, 😒 so expensive, so I took it to my brother to fix and I gave my brother 200 dollars for it to fix it.

I’ve known someone with a Nissan Altima with a Continuous Variable Transmission to blow the transmission at 100k miles.
