P2004 Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open......Easy fix for $4.00

OBD-2 code P2004 Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open. Working on a 2005 Ford Focus with check engine light on.105,000 miles on the car.
2.0 liter engine SE ZX4 engine group 5FMXV02.10GB
Jabo the Mechanic does a good video on troubleshooting this code.
use 5/32 vacuum hose. also 4.0MM in size.

it worked it also fixed my cat i/m readiness sensor along side my intake manifold runner valve problem thank you. this saved me buying a CAT or possibly getting rid of the car. My car is a 2004 ford focus 2.3L pzev zx3, odometer is at 334,000 miles and thanks to you it's getting a new set of 2025 California tags.

Thank you so much! Was able to find the cracked hose in less than 5 minutes. Took another 15 minutes to get the second end of the hose on the nipple. Edit: Holy moly! I checked out your channel and over 1100 videos. Just subbed.

2008 focus 2004 error cracked vacuum hose at the plastic manifold just under the plastic. Had to pull off to see the crack.

104k on my 2006. Same code on mine. Im also smelling gas in the cab but i think thats a different issue, possible fuel leak.
