The interior of both looks good, but the Lucid has an edge imo on how special it feels, and how unique the interior and infotainment UI design are. I would also say that the Lucid has better proportions, but again, both vehicles look good objectively. Doug having wack, inconsistent scoring/reasoning in the Doug Score has been a thing from the very beginning, so idk why you're so surprised. The way he scores things is fundamentally ridiculous because it makes it impossible to fairly compare the scores of any of the cars since he always judges them by the standards on the day he gets to review them, and standards and styles change constantly over time. Basically, all existing scores would need constant re-evaluations after each new review if you wanted the scoring to be fair/scientific.

Its not due to laziness, people are simply used on SUV get in heights and Porsche picked up what their customers want. Just like how they added rear seats to new gt3 touring. Anyways A8 had that gimmick since it came out in 2018/19.

Considering the method of adjusting the air vents, it’s clearly not a car for the lazy. Disabled people are the target, but Doug failed to demonstrate the cheek switch operation of the infotainment system. (If not clear enough; I’m not making fun of disabled people, but only the car and maybe some of its non-disabled owners.)

Remote is like a Corolla & seats are like 1990s vehicle. 0-60mph in 2.8sec which a 50k Tesla model 3 performance can easily do. Plus plenty space in the frunk. Also Ford CEO is loving the vehicle from last 6 months.

@@chartreux1532the average KZbin viewer is not buying cars priced over 30k let alone 250k. This serves no journalistic purpose, that is the point he’s making. Personally I think it’s still cool to see cars I would never even consider buying but given Doug has been steadily decreasing his reviews of normal cars in favour of very rare cars coupled with his insistence of re-reviewing the same car half a dozen times and making “think pieces” on market price manipulation, it’s annoying to see the majority of the content be quite frankly unrelatable or blatantly self-serving. Doug’s videos used to feel like he’s having fun exploring cars and telling us about it. Ever since he started Cars and Bids it’s now just Doug trying to get everyone to use his website. It’s annoying.
