Just placed these mirrors on my 2016 Ram 1500. WOW. Let me start by saying WOW. Because it was so simple. 30 minutes and done. For a wonderful product and MOD. Will he telling everyone that I know to get this brand and how easy it was. Everything works to perfection

I watched three other videos on the instructions for this mirror because the signal lights or puddle lights were not working after I installed it and nobody covered the issue with the lights except your video. The dealership gets you no matter what you do to save money. Thank you for your video and finally answering my question.

Also if your truck does not already have puddle light mirrors then you were truck will most likely need to be activated to get the new trailer mirrors to work. It was $109 activation fee.

Unless it has the built in temp sensor which they don't mention, they won't work with certain models like my 15 ecodiesel Laramie.

Yes. Or you can use something like AlfaOBD. Make sure you get a new switch too

Installed these tow mirrors heated and folding mirrors on my 2018 Dodge Ram quad express. Doesn’t work, was told by American trucks should be plug and play. Do I have to get it flashed from dodge? I had Oem heated power mirrors

I have a 22 1500 classic which is essentially a 2018. I have factory non power folding tow mirrors with puddle lights, heated, etc. I already have ordered a new door switch. Just to confirm - this will function on my truck, correct? I have AlfaOBD to reprogram

i have these, but my power folding button doesn't seem to fold in/out the mirror assemblies, nor does the drivers side heating element work...any ideas of solutions?

You have to change door module and also program it in order to work with alphaOBD or something similar to it

your also supposed to add a bracket to the inside of the door to stiffen up the frame of the door due to the extra weight of the mirror. Just like Ram did with the trucks that had these from the factory.

@@sors1599 the tow mirrors weigh a lot more than the non tow ones. Plus they are longer putting more leverage on the door frame.

David yeahhhhhhhhh I bet they could bend your door huh or worse case rip it right off I heard these mirrors are about 55lbs heavier (EACH). 😂😂😂🤷🏻‍♂️ if I was you I just keep the stocks on!! If not you will complain about gas mileage next

I've had my 2012 ram 1500 for 5 years and never freaking new I had ghost trailer towing mirrors till this vid.... ahhhhhh makes me angry I could of had them up all along! Gaaaaawhhh
