2013 Ford Edge 2.0 solenoid, valve and sesnor locations.

The descriptions of some of the parts varies by mfg. and seller.
At the 1:15 mark, I call it the Turbo Charger Wastegate Control Solenoid, it is also referred to as the Boost Control Solenoid.
At the 1:40 mark, I call it the Turbo Boost Solenoid, it is also referred to as the EGR Solenoid Valve Control.

Great video! Appreciate all the effort it took you to take out the engine which helps to answer my question about the location of the Tubro Boost Solenoid. I'm holding on to the replacement part and it looks exactly like your Wastegate Control Solenoid (1:15 mark). The replacment part looks nothing else like your Boost Solenoid (1:40 mark). I too have the 2013 Ford Edge 2.0L. Is it possible that there are two different kinds of Edges of the same year/engine type? Or perhaps your Boost Solenoid is not OEM? Everything else looks spot on.

Thanks for the inquiry. 1:15 mark - Ford part # BL3Z-9K378-A is for the "Solenoid assembly- Turbo Control" according to Ford Parts Giant. It is called Turbocharger Boost Pressure Sensor" according to Haynes manual. 1:40 mark - Ford part # CB5Z-9E882-A is for the "Control Assembly - EGR Solenoid Valve" according to Ford Parts Giant. Both of these items on this vehicle are the Ford OEM genuine parts. Hope this helps.
