i have a 2013 ford explorer 3.5 with codes C1B0064-68 C200D 49-48 U3000 96-C8... i believe is the rack n pinion but people tell me i have to program once i get the new one can i program with a specific scanner or it has to be exactly like yours?

I have to program a ecm for a 2011 Range Rover....a lot of programming videos talk about needing $400 power supplies and such to program. What are your thoughts on that? I see you just have a good jump box hooked up (which I have). Also, where do you get all the different programming software for the various manufacturers? Thanks for making videos! Big help!

My steering locked up and had no signs till it just happened one day after a rainy day. It’s super hard to turn steering wheel in any direction so you Think it’s the same problem ?.

Likewise…why after rain tho…like are the connector pins susceptible to getting water in them…I suffered the same today

Hi, please help. My car 2014 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid, i recently changed the power steering rack. I installed an old used steering rack which is taken out from the same model year car, but the problem is now when the car is idle and ignition is ON, i can't move the steering but as soon as i start driving the car the steering becomes light and easy to steer. Is there anything to do with programming as i did not do any programming and there is no light on the dashboard and no DTC in the OBD module shows. Please guide me.

yes you need to do some configuration and programming or at least relearn it

@@BestCarFixes I totally agree with you, unfortunately here in Ontario, Canada i have contacted more than 50+ mechanics to reprogram it but no one knows how to do it or they dont have the tools. Can you suggest me which could be the cheapest one if i order from amazon, i believe i also need to purchase the license for ford software but i will do it. if you can guide me to which one should i buy. Thanks in advance.

Hello I have this problem because I changed my steering rack and the steering light appeared and the steering became hard, of course the rack is second hand I would like to do the programming my car is a range rover evoque from 2013 I have the pirated JLR SDD software and the V163 cable, we can detect the car but not reread the PSCM mogram because I am not online can you help me (I am in France) thank you advance

Check see if the wiring connections are clean or damaged down around the steering assist module. It might have gotten loose or super wet.
