Ive owned one for 2 years. I have a appliance repair business, great on gas mileage, i can fit a full size washer and dryer on one side and still have enough room on the other side to store my parts and tools. Just lately its been vibrating alot. I need to replace the motor mounts. Hope thats all it is. Im 5"11, weight 220. Im pretty comfortable in it. Great little van. Update. I replaced the passenger side motor mount. Easy repair, took 1 hour. Now I'm at 200,000 miles and this thing drives like new after replacing the motor mount. This van is incredible. I'm really happy with it. Update 2-22-2022, I'm at 210,000, and still running great. I recently bought a Ford e350 2010 passenger van. I just love van space, and let me tell you. I filled up the 30gallon tank with $$120. And that's going to give me 350 miles. With the connect. I fill up the 13 gallon tank with $30 and it gets me 335 miles, do the math, and I bought full coverage insurance on the e350, it's $3000 a year, the transit connect, I choose to just have liability, it's $50 a month. I think I made a mistake. I'm going to sell my 2010 e350.

Own 6 of these 2013 Transit Connects in the XL (utility) versions. Small and compact and pretty good for in town pickup and delivery use. If you are a big person, you will be uncomfortable. After 4 years of ownership and use, maintenance is too high and wear and tear is high. Highway speeds are bad with no horsepower to maintain constant 70 to 75 MPH and constant downshifting on even the lowest hills. At upcoming 5 years of ownership we plan to dump them and purchase the older Econoline 150 Vans from the used market. Bye the way, all of our 6 at the 4 year mark have less than 40,000 miles. Basically, these things just plain suck as a truck with not enough power to drag a greasy string out of a chicken's butt.

Mine does just fine. What are you hauling in these bad girls? These babies cruise like a Caddy. They don't have a whole lot of power, but I love the mpg. This is actually why I bought mine.

Bigg Puph Do you really think so? Any transmission problems yet? I owned a 2013 wasn’t too bad. Only maintenance I ever did was alternator. Wrecked it after 1 year. About to get another one

@@stevejobs8820 Not sure, I may just be a lucky one. These days before I buy any vehicle, I look at the consumer reviews, see how well it's rated and what the common issues are. Edmunds.com and cars.com are very reliable sources. These things really aren't rated that well. It may just be a hit or miss deal.

Had mine since new honestly it's a great little van I have to replace the transmission now at 122,000 miles but the motor is strong everything works perfect minus the transmission never had any issues until now. The transmission cost is $2000 and that is not installed. Definitely going to fix it for sure. I replaced my 2003 E150 with this van now it's much smaller but you can fit a lot in there.

I was considering to buy this and make a micro camper. Looks like you could barely get a twin mattress in there so most likely custom made fold up couch/bed . I Would like to put in a camper pop top so you could stand a bit and possible do a hanging shower/toilet. It be tight but bet it could be done . Awning outside and a cargo rack on hitch and solar on top if possible

@@1944Jakob lol XD. The ram promaster city is a racoon, the full size promaster is a cow, the transit connect is a chicken, the ford econoline is a hungry pig when the full size transit is a angry galloping horse... hard and bumpy on road, and the Nissan NV is a dog... giant nose for a tall roof short wheel base van. It being, the mercedes sprinter is the best friend. Go for a sprinter van as it will do as you like. It's nice, it's luxury, it's not ugly. And most of all, its a 4x4, it will do the job especially for rough roads both cargo and passenger vans.

The worst vehicle I've ever driven..small..very cramped for me at 6'1"..very very low on power struggles to maintain interstate speed..you have to keep the van at 4500 rpms to run 70..huge blind spots..absolutly no cargo room.. headlight out? Remove the bumper to get the headlight out...very loud engine noise under normal acceleration...people stare it's so loud...60k miles on mine btw I'd be very surprised if it hits 100,000
@cliftonrich6977 жыл бұрын
Very complicated synch settings if you want to use Bluetooth...keys round out all the time locking yourself out of the van..spare keys are a must! 2 sets of keys in 4 years and 60k miles... do not put anything in the over head cargo area..it will fly out and smack you in the head..transmissions are trash..i could keep going but all in all its a cheaply made European designed ford.

Lol I guess cuz it's a horrible van it deserves it. Oh yea, I would've wished these vans were a hybrid. Hence the name "connect" cuz it has the same 2 liter 4 cyl engine you would find in a Prius. Might as well be a Ford 'Prius' Connect.
