2013 Mini Cooper S Valve Cover Gasket Replacement

While working on the oil sensor replacement I noticed the tube for one of the coil packs was filled with oil (which eventually killed the coil) and the car ran like crud. So I replace the valve cover gaskets and that ignition coil.

We used to have a 2009 mini clubman. I thought it was really neat since it was a 2 door wagon and it had rear barn doors. Not a combination you see every day. It was green and it had black racing stripes. However, it started losing oil pressure and would burn way too much oil. It began to run really rough and would stall out, so we sold it. I kinda miss it. I didnt watch the full video, but you were mentioning some codes? I remember ours had some evap code and we just couldn't figure out what it was. I theorize that with the evap/emissions code active, the car would run rough so that it forced you to go and fix the issue. Maybe I'm just crazy.

Yeah that is an interesting Mini. The codes I get are PCV Heater Control and Mixture Control System too Lean and then misfires on each cylinder. I’ve had those for awhile now.

Hello stage Zero! Can you please tell me how to get those two wires connectors disconnect?? I see you used plier to yang it out. How??? You push what up or down??? Thank you

Are wondering about the wires leading to the coil pack? If not add the timestamp where I disconnect.

@@stage0garage Sorry what I meant is that When you used screwdriver to disconnected two connectors on the top of the valve cover. How? You push up or down to released those two connectors. Thank you
