Very nice car. I bought my black 2013 GT500 3 weeks ago with 15,146 miles on it, and it's in pristine condition. I replaced the factory intake with a K&N, which required no tune, and got rid of the resonator so now the supercharger is gloriously loud. It made the exhaust a little louder too. Limo tinted all the windows and all the lights, I couldn't be happier.

That's a marvelous color. My '14 is the dark blue with stripes. At first I thought of getting black/black, but that's so overdone these days. I figured "let it look like what it is". What's this about keeping oil out of the supercharger?

Love the car....But the video is titled "Ownership Experiences" You just showed us your engine bay and what parts you've had fitted, then walked around the car. You only mentioned one thing and that's just saying it's a bit tail happy when accelerating. Not trying be negative or put a downer on your video, but would be much more helpful if you discussed what it's actually like to drive it around, how the car feels etc. I'm currently shopping for one of these and I'm looking for how the clutch is, the gears in these things are supposed to be a bit awkward to live with, how the bodywork hold up and how practical it is to live with etc.

David Harris nice. I can't wait. I had an 04 cobra and loved it. unfortunately it got hit by a truck while parked and got totaled. its amazing how well the gt500 responds to mods. just intake and a tune will get you over 700whp. I hope to have my 2013 in just a few months!

looking to buy one of these after i'm out of my job training for the army, just one question, how's the interior? does it have a plastic cheap feel to it? and are the seats comfortable for long drives? i noticed the steering wheel isn't exactly the best looking so i'm going to change that out if i end up getting one. might as well do smaller pulley to get some more power as well.
@davidharris21788 жыл бұрын
Greezy The torque/hp makes up for whatever is lacking interior-wise. That's why it was a $60K car new, give or take. The Recaros may not be best for long drives, but that's the performance seat option. Standard seats may be better for longer travels. I have no complaints about the interior.
@Steve_Milo7 жыл бұрын
I had to drive my 2013 GT500 900 miles home after I bought it, it has the Recaro seats and I found them quite comfortable for a very long road trip. My previous 2013 premium GT was a little more comfortable, but not by much. I doubt you will have any issues with comfort.

Question about the infotainment, do you have any problems with it, life the screen being sluggish when transitioning from different menu options?. I feel like in 3, 4 or five years down the line it would be beneficial not to have the navigation screen. would you agree?.

how does the reverse lockout work
@davidharris21786 жыл бұрын
The reverse gear is engaged by shifting far to the right & up. It takes a little effort to find your gears, but you feel more in control that way in my opinion.
@davidneal15765 жыл бұрын
Jacob to answer your question it has a speed sensor. If it sees any forward speed it will lock you out of Reverse. It's a 2 wire sensor that bolts into the passenger side of the T6060 transmission.
