The Shelby GT500 Super Snake is a legend for Mustang fans. For today's review on Thatdudeinblue, this 2013 Mustang GT500 became the Super Snake test car for Kenne Bell as they tested the limits of the 5.8 motor that made 662 HP from the factory. Rice Box I thought the same thing until I drove a 2009. I had never driven one before and I had massive expectations for it, but after I drove it, I realized it was just another car. It was fast, but they are very heavy cars so not so good for turns. It felt like I was driving a boat. The clutch was very heavy which would get old after awhile. If you look at them for sale on car gurus, you can see that even with low miles, they have had multiple owners which says something. I really wanted to love the car and was disappointed when I didn't.

3644Darrell By no mean am I grown up man (bare in mind I’m almost 16 only), but to me, there’s only two things that makes it a ‘13 GT500: the 5.8 Trinity block, and the body. If possible, I’ll probably ditch everything for maximum weight reduction, buy a S550 axle and rebuild it. That is if everything I said make sense, which they probably not (no one has probably swap out the 8.8 axle for the IRS, I guess). Also, I heard that the GT500 have some cooling issues. Is that true?

Simple Bolt-ons like Underdrive pulley swap, JLT Intake, Upgraded BBK Throttle body, and a Lund tune has me making 668 RWHP with my stock 2.3L TVS. The car is a Monster and I've only had it up @ 6,000 rpm, in 3rd gear, ripping past 125 mph. +'s.....Pure joy to drive. Constant compliments. Mad respect from other drivers. More power than you should be allowed to have. -'s...... Everyone wants to race you. Too much attention. Having to discipline yourself at all times while driving it. Cautiously aware of that live axle putting you on the other side of the dirt. One Helluva Car man. 🤔😎🌍✈

Good video, I just subscribed but been watching for a while now. This is just something I enjoy and maybe other folks do as well but when you romp on a Car especially that one, I wish you would either have a camera on the speedometer or at least tell us what speeds you’re getting up to. I just thought I would throw that out there. That is a great looking car except for the fact that it’s setting way to low. I know most people like that but I think it looks terrible. I was afraid of driving my 2014 Gt500 and getting in trouble (going to prison) everyday. So I just bought a 03 GT with 41k miles to daily. The gearing being so long in the Trinity Makes it difficult to have a ton of fun on the road. But there is no way I would ever get rid of the car. It is an amazing feeling doing a pull from 40-100 in second. The car just pulls harder and harder as the revs go up.
