2014 (2013) Kawasaki ZX6R 636 18 month road and track review

After 18 months of ownership I finally managed to do a review of the 2014 ZX6. The review is based on my experience on both road and track. I'll run through what brought me to this bike, the extras that have been put on and my thoughts on this bike after having ridden it on road and track for 18 months

frame sliders are to protect the FRAME. sometimes they save your plastics, yes, but if so it's like a bonus.

Hiya, I found them on eBay - quite a while ago so there isn't an item anymore, but this is the title "BLACK STOMPGRIP TANK PAD KAWASAKI ZX6R ZX6-R 2009-2013 STOMP-GRIPS ANTI SLIP ". About £40 I think

I don't know why they don't put a steering damper stock on this bike. It has everything else. I'm stuck between this and the gsxr 600 or possibly the 750.

I did look a GSXR and test rode one, but I felt it lacked character. I think it's also referred to as a Squid bike by some (not by me) ;)

Hawk862 this was an older post. I ended up buying the 30th anniversary edition zx6r. I love it!

I rekon so - traction control, different power modes, ABS, 600cc (not 1000) - but the best thing, a really forgiving clutch - what more could you want for a first bike!
