2014-2016 Accent 1.6L p0441

UPDATE: I will be making a part two to this video soon. The problem i thought it was, I dont think is the cause of the engine code.
Video tutorial on my running with a p0441 diagnostic code on a 2015 Hyundai Accent with a 1.6 liter.
There was no final solving of the problem because the customer didn't want to do the work with us but I will show you what I found and I will also try to add some voltage specs about the purge valve in the future to the description box.

I had the same "leak" around the filler neck. However, I spoke with a mechanic and he said that its normal for smoke to exit there since I couldn't block it off. I had already replaced the purge valve and gas cap. The fix was to change the rear evap canister that appears at 3:53. HTH.

Update: the code has returned for me. So a new rear evap canister did not fix it. There is the outstanding TSB but it's not a recall. You have to pay the dealer to diagnose it then they may reprogram it if that's the issue.

The smoke in this video is normal it’s the vent valve it’s supposed to do that. I mistakenly thought the same thing. My bet is the purge valve is faulty only at times. Replace it first!

Man this is the best video I've ever seen that explains stuff to where anybody can understand it. Can i fly you in to fix my car please? unless your in San Antonio then I'd swing by haha. Man i have zero tools. That vacuum check gage etc. I got nothing. I wonder if oreillys has that and would be kind enough to plug it on and check the purge valve for me before i jump into buying a new one... this sucks. I just bought this accent because my corolla is super old and has major evap issues (flooded charcoal canister and some)and now i have this potential shit show on my hands and am completely broke. Man if you were in my area you could fix my accent AND my corolla. 😭

Thats just smoke going through the vent valve (normally open)

He is right , nothing wrong there . This smoke is coming out of the vent solenoid. If you activate the solenoid smoke will stop coming out of that gas cap area.
