My DB9 turned so many heads in the US that I think some people broke their neck trying to get a glimpse of it when I was driving by. It was also a lot more reliable than any of the german turds (Porsche and BMW) that I have owned. You're absolutely right, it's quite bizarre that their isn't more demand for these, but the prices for these cars new are a bit outrageous. I bought mine used and paid a fraction of the original MSRP. However, prices are on the rise so maybe people are catching on after all? I sold my DB9 and now want a Vanquish, but waiting for this car market to cool down.

I had a 2005 DB9 for 6 years and used it as my daily driver. Put 43,000 miles on it. Never got stranded. Very reliable car. Only big expense was 2 motor mounts replaced and all new plugs and coil packs. Sold it and regretted it badly. Therefore I recently purchased a 2011 Rapide. It is awesome and I like it better than the DB9. Not quite as fast but more leg room for the driver, better chassis height and rear seats that can actually be used. Ride quality is better.

The V12 engine sounds absolutely amazing and this can't be avoided, probably the best feature of the car.. honestly one of the best engine sounds I've ever heard, stunning v12.. steering is slightly less tough to deal with than the V8 vantage and the braking system seems to be a little more responsive on the dp9 given the fact of a larger engine, unfortunately overall I'd have to say Porsche boxster/ Lamborghini gallardo/ hurracan all all more quality and enjoyable rides
