As always thank you for doing those videos. I've installed the chipwerke on my A7 and the car is extremely quicker then before so now I'm playing with the idea of stage 2. I will mention that my mpg on efficiency mode rose by over 20%.
@blackcatgats3 жыл бұрын
I’d go stage 1 before going for this since chipwerke is a piggyback and not an ecu flash.

Please Help!!! I have a 2013 Audi A7. I hit a opossum last night going about 65 MPH busted my front bumper and it ripped the 3 pin connector out of my coolant pump. I purchased a new 3 pin connector each pin is numbered 1 2 3 but the wires are solid black. I have 3 wires dangling from the harness that goes to the pump the colors are solid RED, solid VIOLET, and RED with a WHITE stripe. Does anyone know what color goes to each specific pin number????? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is probably a stupid question but here it goes, Do you need to have the stage one apr ecu flash in order to install the stage 2 pulley's?
@FelekPL4 жыл бұрын
To do stage 2 flash you need stage 1 flash. You can do it all at once though-install the pulleys and get stage 1 and 2 flashes together.

After the install you drove for 2 days with no issue? What did you felt, any thoughts?
@FelekPL5 жыл бұрын
Stage 2 is totally worth it, I love how it drives. The only thing which may or may not be related to it is my pcv is going out but that's few months later and again not sure if it's related. Will be doing vid on replacing it.

What belt did you replace and what belt did you re-use?
@FelekPL5 жыл бұрын
Replaced V-belt (closer to the front of the car) that goes on drive pulley and used APR belt for replacement.. The length of the belt depends on if you are replacing drive pulley, crank pulley or both. I replaced both pulleys.

Did you upgrade your inter-cooler? If not, are you having issues with heat soak?
@FelekPL5 жыл бұрын
So as you may know this car was in an accident. I replaced intercooler as the old was damaged. I bought an aftermarket one. No heat issues
@FelekPL5 жыл бұрын
So another thing I should mention is that about the time when I got my APR stage 2 done, they added on their website info that they recommended intercooler upgrade. I think that's just an excuse for another revenue stream. I spoke with a guy who does APR upgrades at his shop on a daily basis and he said they have had no issues with heat or anything else failing because of the APR upgrade.

@@FelekPL thanks for the info.

What 0-60 time are you running with stage 2 approximately

Can't tell you because 1 - I didn't measure, 2- I live mile above sea level so the time would be way off

Can you install these without the tune? Or is it mandatory
@FelekPL4 жыл бұрын
No idea. When I installed I drove for a day before getting software flash and there was no check engine light or any errors. That's all I can say
@Todd.T4 жыл бұрын
If you put these without a tune, I would expect that I could beat you with a tune only and no pulleys. The Stage One APR adds 110+ HP without a pulley, so that should tell you that software is very important.
@justhere47214 жыл бұрын
Stage 2 is only one pulley. The super charger pulley. If you changed both pulleys, than that will be stage 3.
@FelekPL4 жыл бұрын
Not with APR, they still call it stage 2, at least on A6
@justhere47214 жыл бұрын
@@FelekPL Your right, I stand corrected. So hows the upgrades holding up? Any issues? Software , overheating, sudden power loss?
@FelekPL4 жыл бұрын
@@justhere4721 The only issue I've had and not actually sure if it's related to APR is PCV/oil separator error which results in car burning some oil. I mean we are talking 1/2 quart every 5000k miles or so. Again, not even sure if that's related to the APR. I feel like my previous Audi A4 with turbo engine was burning more oil with no faults. Other than that I love the stage 2 and no issues.
@justhere47214 жыл бұрын
@@FelekPL this was a known problem on the 4.0t v8. The new style pcv for direct injection motors weren't that good. And replacing them is a pain since you have to remove the supercharger. Some people added a catch can. Not sure if it stops the oil burning though.
@FelekPL4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I already looked into fixing pcv but like you said it sits right underneath supercharger. Maybe one day...for now it's not a big deal.
