If yours is laggy you must need a software update. The loaner car cadillac gave me has absolutely no perceivable lag except when using pinch to zoom in and out. I prefer using the zoom button anyway. I love this system and wish it was in my ctsv. Audi MMI and IDrive I was never impressed with. The integration of my iPhone into the system is flawless not to mention into the gauge cluster. Wonderful system.

I have this car and no problems with anything. It's a tablet that you swipe with layers of functions. You can customize the car to suit your taste. And yes it gives voice commands.

have new xts and this is an excellent touch system....very easy to use...it works just like an I phone or tablet

Ats 2013 no screen displays but work what needs to happen?? Radio model was replaced and radio 2014 put in 2013 ats Cadillac

Why can't car manufacturers match tablet manufacturers and ensure the interface is responsive with a powerful enough processor? Even basic Nexus 7 is way more responsive than that. I'm sure it's even more important for the car MMI to be responsive for the driver than tablets for normal users. Why not just partner tablet manufacturers to design and make the interface with an audio supplier?

It works well via the voice commands but using the touchscreen while in motion can be frustrating because of the system's lag.

Alex on Autos If you consistently swipe the CUE while driving it messages you about the dangers of creating a collision and to keep your eyes on the road. More controls on the steering wheel.

***** Of course it's the cars fault. Does GM expect all it's drivers to have perfectly tagged MP3's. Doesn't take a hell of a lot of programming to stop the song showing twice.
