2014 challenger fuel pump replacement

2014 challenger fuel pump on drivers side and regulator and filter on passenger side. just replace both they work as a set.

Hi I have dodge charger and just replaced primary fuel pump.. But today while putting petrol all the petrol got leaked from down due to over flow but in the indicator petrol showing less so advice what is the cause?
