Thank you sir for this in-depth video! I had an issue with a Cruze that I was driving and all at once lost everything. Through your video and the diagrams, I found broken CAN bus wires under the car between the power steering module and connector X100. I learned so much about tracing wiring issues, thanks a ton!

Hello, in this video is really good content that demonstrates a great deal of determination to narrow down the cause of a stalling, no crank vehicle. It is very reassuring that you used a multi-meter to thoroughly decipher electrical flow thru the wiring hanress. It is impressive that rather than buy a new wiring harness, there was stil enough internal mental reserve and physcial capcity to remove one from a another vehicle. Thanks for showing the benefit of exercising patience, knowledge, and persistence to bring the Cruze back gto life.

Dude you are a genius! I have a Cruze that I could use your assistance on lol.. I had a ecu pin burnout problem that I temporarily fixed and now I have put a new ecm on it and fixed the plug issues and I can’t get it running now 🤦🏻♂️
@BrianMann21611 ай бұрын
did you get it programmed?
@kylehayes649811 ай бұрын
Yeah I ordered it from flagship1 and it wants to start but it’s not getting enough spark or something? Pulled the plugs and it looks like only 2 are firing? You don’t happen to have an ecu pin out diagram do you? I need to make sure that I don’t have the wires crossed on my plug and the internet is? Not giving me much information
@quintonauto58622 жыл бұрын
Thx for being so detailed on how you went through this problem, certainly learned some knowledge in how to go through the CAN system, just had this same problem but only found it by luck, looked in that connector because i noticed carpet still very wet months after snow is gone here and was most likely place to find a corroded terminal or 2

Well you did a good job paying attention to the details. Sometimes that is all that it takes to be quick to the point on a potential time consuming diagnosis. Thanks for watching.

Looks like the stereo install caused tons of problems likely from the mods to the wiring and the vibrations too. That line level converter next to the corroded terminals was definitely related to each other. Some people shouldn't be messing around with wiring unless they have a basic understanding of how things work. What a mess
