2014 Fiat Panda 4x4 Propshaft splitting (View 1)

Splitting my Panda 4x4 propshaft using a homemade tool.
I didn't have any steel plate handy so used commercial mower blades to make the parts I needed to split the parts.
I had already removed the bearing carrier and bearing by cutting into the inner bearing race in three places with a 1mm grinding disc carefully so as not to cut into the shaft and splitting it the rest of the way with a chisel to remove the remainder of the bearing.

Yes, the rubber part had failed. I removed the failed rubber part and cut the outer bearing race off, then cut into and cracked the inner bearing race with a chisel to remove that. I didn't video record that part. The video is just how I separated the two halves of the propshaft as this is what most people seem to struggle with. Fitting the new bearing with the rubber bush was easy, and so was putting the two halves of the propshaft back together so I didn't video record that either. It now has a new bearing and rubber bush and is fitted back to the car.
