2014 Honda Accord Window Regulator Motor Front Replacement Change How to 2013-2017 & Up

Just replaced my regulator today. My motor was just fine, it was the cable on the regulator that snapped and got caught in the plastic slide the windows bolted to. I just cut the cables after disconnecting the window for the slider and pulled the window out while getting the regulator out.

On the new regulator did you use the cable that was attached to it?

What does it mean if it won’t go up once all blotted in?

Does it go down? The motor has only a few wires, one is powered to go up and the other is for going down. What was the original problem? The reason why you changed the motor?

I snapped the regulator living the in north. Have bought the wrong part twice for it now. Finally put it in watching your video. Super helpful by the way thank you so much. Plugged it in to align the white part with the holes And every button works on the control panel except for the front passenger. Would this mean the control arm is broken?

@@briannalewis8112 does the front passenger switch work for that window, if so then its not the motor or regulator, its the master switch on the drivers side

@@alyoungcuda passenger door only has one window switch. I meant the front driver door, not passenger. What is the master switch? Every other button works on it besides the drivers.

@@briannalewis8112 master switch is the main one on the drivers door..it comes with all the buttons on that master switch

@@johnjkizer6399 why, because there will be that someone that is Not mechanically fit and do what you say to cut it and either it comes down like a gillitine or it will injure someone's hand or fingers..there are always short cuts to everything in life but you don't show that to newbies, you do the right thing. Just like removing a ball joint or a tie rod, are you supposed to use the right pickle fork tool or the joint removal tool you can rent or buy...sure, but in real life you Don't , it's not taught in any Automotive school or Tech school . Now if you all watch My Channel, you will notice a few Hacks that are safe and harmless to everyone, those I pass on to the newbies and to the ones that are Not in the Automotive Trade.
