Just found a bunch on Cycletrader for sale today! It's a really great machine and even when I get other kinds of motorcycles, I'm going to keep this until it or I are killed. My only real criticism is that lack of 6th gear. Thanks for watching and hope to see you on yours some day. :D

It's the Engine! I love mine, 2014 Blue. Put a new euro-windscreen on it, bluetooth speakers, Heated Grips, Running lights, wired in with the turn signals. I had/have the back rest/rear rack, but now have a VIP Trunk from Ebay, love it! and some saddlebags from Amazon (current not on Love the single swing arm look). I bought a 2001 Yellow GoldWing #742 new back in 2001, sold it around 2012. Was missing bikes and got a screaming deal on my 2014(new) in 2018.

While my personal dress sometimes looks 'old school' and I do love and appreciate the artistry of judicious applications of chrome I very much am a "new school" rider. I was sucked in to the machine aesthetics of AKIRA and Ghost in the Shell. When I saw the Honda NM4 I said YES! THAT'S IT! That bike has the 'ideal' look for me. Just wish I could get better than a 700cc engine in it. I.. uh... like to go. This one really looks like a streamliner locomotive to me and I just dig it. Cheers!

Since 1978 I've had NO car .... just bikes, a 400Four Supersport, V-45 Magna, Pacific Coast 800, ST1100, ST1300. Over 680,000 miles total. I've gone down more than a hand full of times with 3 different broken bones at different times. I've done 145mph, but nothing caused my hands to tremble on the grips as much as my brand new from the dealer (bought in 2014) Valkyrie riding over to my sister's house 3 miles away to show it off. It is one of the most exciting bikes I've ridden. I still get stares when I'm out with questions by total strangers. I still commute 300 a week on the ST1300 but my big Girl is for the weekends.

Went from a f6b to one, obviously extremely smooth, more torque than you'll ever need, needs abs and 6th gear and gear indicator, also tall windshield for highway droning and bags, great center of gravity, good brakes and handling, shes heavy though backing up and getting out of the garage, no bike is perfect I guess,
@bikerbobcat2 жыл бұрын
I would love to try the other Goldies just to see the difference in handling. You're right about it being heavy, I've dropped it twice, once backing up and the wheel lurched and another stopped on a steep slope. Oops. Still great machine. Thanks so much for watching! :D

I have the same bike, great for two up riding. A givi topbox on back good for storing a helmet or jacket and pillion backrest. It also has a helmet lock on side of bike. Weight is down low so easy to handle. If it had a gear indicator, cruise control and a reverse gear it would be a perfect bike.
@bikerbobcat4 жыл бұрын
I never ride 2-up (get your own if you want to join me or wait until I get my side car). That said I do want to take it cross-country. I may have to fabricate my own luggage and rack system to carry enough for a long trip. Or just find some places with laundry... Thanks for watching!

I'm trying to purchase a gently used black 2014 Valkyrie at the moment I'll be trading in a 2020 Suzuki Burgman 400 for this Beast. Do you still have this Ride and what are your thoughts on it now
@bikerbobcat Жыл бұрын
I still love my Valkyrie and I can't wait for Spring! I'm not going to sell this motorcycle unless I have to. Ever. However, I probably will only do a little bit of work on it myself, just because I'm lazy and it's harder to take apart than was my 2003 Honda Shadow VT750. I'll probably leave the big stuff to the pros. I haven't taken it cross country yet, but I want to. My ONLY substantial complaint is that it doesn't have a 6th gear and I really, really wish it did. Going from a Burgman 400 up to a Valkyrie 1800?? That is one heck of a step up! This is a serious motorcycle. Please be careful. Thanks for watching.

@bikerbobcat Жыл бұрын
I'm 5'8! Like any motorcycle, the hardest part is trying to push it around with just your feet. It's like 700lbs heavy and can topple if you're not careful, what else is new? BUT once under its own power, it's just fine, even at lower speeds. Stop and go traffic is a bear but you get used to it. Consider a gym membership and this bike will be yet another no big deal. I love mine and won't sell it unless I have to. Thanks for watching!

I'm really lusting for one of these, made worse by the fact that a F6C owner in my city has one for sale ... an imaculate 2014 model, bright red, 42 thousand miles and a price tag of $7,100US. It's standard, so no screen or luggage, but awesomely well priced particularly as these bikes don't come up for sale around here very often. But I know nothing about the F6C in terms of any 'gotchas' that I need to be wary of. I figured that at that price, it's probably not going to depreciate much more for a few more years and maybe it's a keeper. I don't need a screen, but would like some storage, so I may need to look into that. (posted on Oct 22, 2022).

Prices are hard to determine these days. It's a great machine and very solid. I'm never selling mine as long as I can ride. Screens you can get aftermarket from BIkescreen.com. Luggage is a little harder but not impossible. I made my own luggage rack (you can find the video) and frankly, I think it's better than anything aftermarket. XD Go get it and be awesome. Good horse! The fanny pack is so dork! I mean dope! Too bad they don’t make grocery bags for motorcycles, otherwise you could just bungie tie those to the fender. But wow! Big upgrade for any level of rider! Wonder if it has reverse gear like the Goldwing? And how far can you go on a tank o gas?

I haven't had time to figure out how to take that pack off yet but I will today. It fits my camera which is about the only other thing I carry regularly so I may just leave it on.
